Mother Gaia is the earth

She created the soil, and the trees

She knows the sky, and the sun

And the moon, and the stars

She created the oceans, and the streams

She created you, and she created me

She knows us well, and we know she

But we forget her sometimes, and all that she is

And everyday she wakes, and reminds us

With the rising of the sun

The breaking of the day

The parting of clouds

And her bright sun rays

She reminds us that beauty is everywhere we look

In the lakes

In the mountains

In the flaws of our skin

She created us perfect, exactly as we are

And everyday she wakes, and reminds us

By showing us who we are
